More Than a Standard Sightseeing Tour

An ancestry tour often takes us away from Scotland's busiest visitor attractions and into small towns, rural communities and landscapes that many visitors would otherwise never see.

Along the way, I can also incorporate local history, Scottish culture and scenic stops, giving you a wider understanding of the area your ancestors would have known.

There is always flexibility within the day. If we discover an interesting church, viewpoint, historic building or village along the route, we can stop and explore.

Private Transport Throughout Scotland

Tours are provided in a comfortable Ford Tourneo nine-seater, with space for up to eight passengers.

For longer journeys and touring days, I generally recommend smaller groups where possible, giving everyone additional space and allowing plenty of room for luggage if the ancestry tour forms part of a wider Scottish holiday.

Tours can begin from Edinburgh, Edinburgh Airport, your hotel or another agreed location.

One-way ancestry journeys can also be arranged, allowing you to explore family locations while travelling between different parts of Scotland.
